Please read the information below before starting the registration process!

Please check with your CTAE Director if you are not sure how your registration will be paid.  If you use your personal credit card and your school district pays your registration, there will be a $50 processing fee to refund your registration fee.

You must be a current member of ACTE/GACTE (dues current through 7/31/18) or join or renew your ACTE/GACTE membership prior to registering for the conference to receive the member registration rate.  You may also pay your dues with conference registration.  You may join or renew your dues at:

HOTEL INFORMATION

You access the GACTE Hotel Block through the Conference Registration process.

All reservations in the GACTE room block are managed exclusively by ShowCare (GACTE’s official housing provider). GACTE attendees should secure their hotel reservations during the registration process ONLY. Please do not book your reservation through any third-party vendor. If you book through the hotel directly, the negotiated group room rates will not be available.

Opening General Session Speaker

Dr. Adolph Brown, III

Dr. Adolph Brown, III is an American urban and rural school educator, author, research-scientist, businessman, and keynote speaker.  He is a teacher at heart, and is admired around the world for his simple and direct “Real Talk,” and powerful, universal and timeless teachings.  Dr. Brown is best known for inspiring all who hear him to learn, laugh and lead, while simultaneously reducing implicit bias at every turn.  He credits much of his success to the luxury of humble beginnings of being reared by a single parent mother in the inner city housing projects and spending summers in farming country with his grandfather.
