February 17, 2015 is CTSO Day at the Capitol in Atlanta, Georgia. Since CTE month is February 2015, the CTSO Day at the Capitol gives students the chance to become more knowledgeable about the workings of their state government and meet and hear from state legislatures who pass the laws of the state.
Georgia CTSO promotes occupational excellence, leadership and citizenship among their members who are preparing for the workforce and further education. They are an integral component of the CTAE, which is designed to support instructional objectives of academic and technical merits. Students are given the confidence and knowledge through competition to become better students and productive citizens that develop into school and community leaders.
This event is open to all CTSO State Officers and Advisers.
